Robotics

robot

The purpose of our robotics program is to have fun and spark an interest in your child’s mind into the field of robotics. We are starting with Ozobots to establish basic programing skills and then we are building robots to move objects on the field such as balls and cubes. We will be using VEX IQ robots to complete this objective. Many jobs of the future will involve robotics. Don’t get left behind, come join the fun! Call the library with any questions.

New 8-week Program Starts January 14th!

During this 8-week program, we will be going into more in-depth programming with Ozobots and Vex. If you’ve been attending our Robotics program, continue to attend to learn more. If you haven’t been coming, start now to begin learning what robotics is all about.

Classes are held every Tuesday (January 14th to March 3rd) from 5:30-6:30 pm in the library basement and are for children in grades 3-12. Younger children may attend when accompanied by a parent or other adult. We encourage an adult to attend with any age child and work together.
